Last week they made mountains with snowcaps and a bright sun representing Gods light on the dark side of the mountain. They glued struggles and troubles that they have along the way as they climbed the mountain. Some kids chose picky eating, time outs, fighting, worrying, not sharing, etc. We talked about no matter how big the problem, God is in control! They saw a power point about this concept and we read about Jonah not trusting God and hiding from him and the consequences from that. Then we read a book called: Wemberly Worries, about a little mouse who doesnt know that God is in control.
